FUNDING

Pope's Kids Place is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. Contributions are tax deductible as allowed by law. The organization is funded by federal, state, and local agencies, as well as by donations from individuals, organizations, and businesses in the community and throughout the country.

Federal Support / HRSA Grant

We very much appreciate the Office of U.S. Rural Health Policy, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) for the grant that made the project facilitation Health Care for Rural Special Needs Children in Southwest Washington State possible. Funding from this grant allows us to identify special needs children in Lewis, Cowlitz, Grays Harbor, Mason, Pacific, and Wahkiakum counties to help families obtain access to medical and dental care.

David and Minnie Meyerson Foundation

The David and Minnie Meyerson has funded an addition and therapeutic equipment to Vivian's House respite center, and has also made provision for a complete website renovation.

State Support

We can bill the Department of Developmental Disabilities, Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) and other funding sources, including insurance, for respite care services. We also bill medical insurance and DSHS for medical services.
