PEDIATRIC CLINIC

The Pediatric Clinic provides a full range of medical services for all children from birth to age 21. This includes well baby checks and well children exams, sports physicals, illnesses, immunizations and all other children's medical needs.

The clinic began providing services to the children of Lewis County and surrounding areas in 1999.

Children With Special Health Care Concerns

Although Pope's Kids Place offers pediatric services to all children, our mission is working with children with special health care concerns. Due to the complexity of care required by these children, coordination of their health care is essential to providing quality medical management.

Wide Range of Services to Accommodate Disabled Children

Because your special child is special to us, we offer a wide range of services to accommodate the many types of disabilities Lewis County children may have. Listed below are a few of the many services offered by Pope's Kids Place:

A specialist in neurodevelopmental pediatrics from Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center holds monthly clinics so that severely disabled children can receive medical attention without having to endure the 180-mile round trip to either Seattle or Portland.
Tacoma's Mary Bridge Children's Foundation provides staff for casting clinics that treat musculoskeletal disorders.

Medical Clinic Staffing

Mary Chmelik (pronounced "shmellick"), ARNP, and Isaac Pope, MD--both graduates of the University of Washington--provide comprehensive medical services.

Our office staff and nurses are available to answer questions about clinic services as well as concerns about your child's health.

Pediatric services are available to all children; office visit fees can be billed to medical insurance, DSHS or paid in cash. A sliding schedule of fees for uninsured children is available. Contact us now for more information.
